Help identifying please - Maliboo - 01-30-2017

great pictures and information. Can anyone help identify this please? About 3.5" Thanks.

Thought it may be bear but can't see growth rings near tip. Thanks.

It does look pretty worn, but I guess it should be a lower canine tooth of tiger.

Thank you Grizzly. I thought it also could be that. One side resembles more of a tiger canine, but the other side with more damage to the posterior confused me.

If the root is broad, then it is tiger.

The narrow root is the lion.

Thanks Grizzly. For the most part then, unless it's a deformity, the narrow root as in this photo would suggest a lion rather than a tiger, correct?

Yep, the narrow root is the indication of a lion.
