RE: Trip to the Toronto Zoo - brotherbear - 10-07-2016 From post #5... My favorite part. Adult male Grizzly. Was absolutely massive. Yes, the inland grizzly bears of Alaska are generally larger than those from south of the Canadian border, with the exception of the Yukon area. *I would love to see them. RE: Trip to the Toronto Zoo - Pckts - 10-07-2016 How did the rhinos compare? I got to feed a male one horned rhino and the guy was as large as my truck, so I know they're massive. I think the Alaskan peninsula grizzlies were even larger than the Kodiak bears. 357 kg vs 312 kg based on the average. The white rhino was a tad longer, the Indian was a bit taller. RE: Trip to the Toronto Zoo - sanjay - 10-07-2016 These are some awesome shots Shardul Which camera you used ? The one with Orangutan is fabulous. He is looking directly to you with beautiful facial expression. It is the best camera in its price range, imo, especially for low light photography. The D7200 is now the latest iteration, and is supposed to be better than the 7000. |
