The Tsaro males; Duba’s dominant males are moving together to join up with the pride. Despite the fact that there is one lion who is the ultimate king, these two share nearly everything and they remain very tactile and affectionate. The differences will come when it is time to mate, but they know each other intricately and should have sorted out who is the dominant male. But males aren’t always very straight thinking when it comes to females...

A male lion from Savuti... Beautiful but seeming not in conquered territory. So I imagine... Is the danger able to come from everywhere ? But he will know how to deal with !

Mombo Camp. The grass is green, the mane is beautiful, the belly is full... Time of plenty or just a moment after a good meal ?

The accession of an impressive male lion... You can note it was relaxing at a stretch of water as the tigers currently do in India.

RE: Lions from Botswana - Spalea - 08-13-2019

A splendid male lion very quiet on the branchs of a tree, a very good observation post.

From the trees (at #42) to the water, the lions of Botswana are "all-terrain" felids...
