Although I'm not still sure of Sekekama age. Some earlier pics of him indicates that he should be around 13 or even more. Quite remarkable that he is still in amazing condition for such number.

He is a legend!! You’re right my friend. He is slightly older than 13. Isn’t that amazing?

He and Torn Nose, aren't they 15 or older by now if I am not mistaken. And both are in great shape, teeth looking good too.

Two old warriors have been keeping their territory for a very long time... The Mababe lions coalition.

@KM600 I am sure this is the thread you were referring to. It is the only thread we have for the area, but sadly news from that area doesn't find it's way here as often as we'd like. Is Tsekedi one of the males in the coalition you mentioned?

Kruger and Sabi Sands are the two we get the most news from, with Masai Mara coming in third, and the Asiatic thread falling in behind there. The Asiatic thread is sometimes quite active, which is nice as I find those lions and the dynamics quite unique and interesting, and then it can get quiet for a spell, same for the Mara thread. Not really sure why it is like that, perhaps news from the other areas isn't released as often? I don't really know.

Tsekedi is the older brother to the Renegade coalition I mentioned, I heard he’s in Moremi and I believe he’s a pride male. The younger brothers took over the Northern pride after Tsekedi and Blondie left Pretty Boy to defend for himself. For quite a while I’ve been hearing about tensions brewing between the Mababe coalition and the Renegades but it seems the recent altercation is the most serious one yet.

Thank you for that update. Hopefully we can find out more, very interesting dynamics in that area.

I do have a fairly old map of the area I’m talking about on my phone but for whatever reason it’s not letting me send it on here.

What kind of file is it? Maybe this link will help:

It’s just a normal screenshot I’m tryna send, whenever I try do it thru the message it says ‘this image is copyright of its original author’ and when I try do it thru attachment it says the file is too large.
