Bob JR
The history and Mistry of the big male lions has ever happened in the Serengeti was two famous big males known as Bob and Ziggy.
Bob is belived to have been born in the Central Serengeti in 2006 and died in 2019 he was one of the longest living lion in the history of the Serengeti..!!!!
Ziggy is believed to have been born in Southern Serengeti..
In 2008 Bob and Ziggy were first seen together and they started there pride which was very strong genes with strong generation like Bobjunior today.
The Name derived from the size and colors of the manes that bob and ziggy had was black and long like the dreadlocks of the Bob Marley the reggae music singer..!!

The big male lion Snyggve standing proud and tall on top of a small termite mound as he surveys the golden Namiri Plains in the Serengeti. His cubs, counted 19 in total back in October, seem to be doing well as per latest sightings in November.

The king of Lamai wedge in Serengeti at sunset. Probably one of the most handsome red-mane lions I have ever met in the wild. I hope to see him again upon my return to Lamai next year.

Eugene and Genius, two of four male lions in the Gene-flow coalition, Possibly the parents of the 5 Lake Quintet males. Since 1993 this had been the first time that new unknown males entered and established themselves in the Crater which hugely contributed to a refreshing genepool (hence that specific coalition name).

Outstanding portraits in one shot of the former rulers of the Ndutu conservation area, the notorious LOL-Gang males; from left to right Loji, Loojolu, Lope and Loton the latter was also called the George Clooney of the coalition. The beauty of this photo is completely ineffable!

The beautiful blonde maned Lake Quintet male LK123 during a sighting when he was just a very young male. Today at the age of 6 years he still maintained his blonde mane and thus provides a beautiful contrast to his older and completely dark maned coalition partners LK115 and LK116.

A throwback to 2017 and two of the five Lake Quintet males. LK120 (Titan Jr.) and LK116 affectionately bumping heads.
Can you actually believe that when this picture was taken these two males were only 3 respectively 4 years old?
Today this extraordinary coalition of 5 males is successfully controlling the Lakette pride, the Lagunita pride and the big Munge Mabinti pride.
