Those 4 males are 4 of the 7 Satara males they were spotted yesterday on s100 they were mistaken for casper and bros because of the pale member of the coalition.

other 3 still alive when was last update ?

It's so weird that the two slightly older KYM broke off from their four slightly younger brothers to form a coalition with an unrelated male. Super weird to me but i guess it makes sense for wild lions

From what I remember the oldest (k1) is a few months older than the male he is with (k2) and he is only 1 month older than the triplets (k3,k4,k5) Idk why those 2 left I wish they would’ve stayed together but both groups are doing fine

They are few months older, this is normal that older brothers sometimes leave the pride earlier, S.Avocas did the same.

Didnt they all leave at the same time when the four ndzenga took over the kambula pride? I thought they all left together and in the company of their father nhenha.

After nhenha teamed up with his other son the NYM, the six KYM were still together for a short period of time until they got separated.

Even so, like i said, even if the two older boys decided to seperate but to seperate and form a coalition with a non related male is weird. Leaving your own brothers?? Hopefully it works out for them

The s.avocas stuck together through thick and thin even when facing the majinginies and their sons. Those young s.avocas didn't feel the need to form a coalition with any other unrelated males. They probably thought why should we do that when we have three slightly younger brothers we could be in a coalition with.

Yea, but they where scattered, group of 6 was never really established, 2 older ones where always moving between the groups, until they decide to move further.

Lions dont do future plannings like that, 2 of them didnt meant to link with Pretoriuskop male, it just happened.

Why this things happen is not clear, it prob has to do with bonds in the pride, siblings who are closer in age tend to have stronger bonds as they grow up.

Same as BDMs, 2 who separated where actually few months younger then other 4, prob have closer bond, and they decide to move away.

Seems like the other Kambula Boy hasn't been seen with his brother and unrelated partner for awhile now.

On that note, some more sad news about the Sand River Pride.... Another young male got killed and eaten by 3/6 Nkhulus.  He got separated somehow and then was later heard contact calling.  I guess that drew the aggressive males towards his direction and they got him. Such sad news.   I'm just so gutted that all these males are just killing the hell out of the pride, right now.  They are hunting them down one by one and eliminating them.  Those young males have got to leave.  They will be caught!  Five members confirmed killed by the Nkhulus.

Saw a report three Gomondwane young males are in Mjejane. Wonder if it’s Zaza, Zozo, and Tank Jr?

Yes I read that as well. Very unfortunate if he lost his brother and now just the 2 unrelated males together. He's lucky that they teamed up if he indeed lost his bro!
