Yes, its other Nkaya Pan male (brother of Mohawk/Split Nose), they are easy to ID because they are marked/branded on their back legs for some research purposes (5th Mpondo was also branded like that).

The fifth mpondo ( eldest one) died / killed by S26 coalition or young jock male coalition or by mjejane males.
What about the other 3 mpondos.
Where did they disappear.
And how old is this last mpondo.
Also apart from 3 renosterkoppies males, any sons sired by mpondo males????

5th Mpondo was most likely injured/killed by S. Shishangeni and EBM male as they took his territory and prides in Jock Concession after their demise.
Blondie who was with 5th in Jock area disappeared shortly after 5th demise, he was in very bad condition.

3 other Mpondo (Snip-Tail, his brother and Amber Eyes returned back north in the beggining of 2020, re-took their old territory from DeLaportes around mid 2020 and took Nwaswitshaka area and pride from Big Boy Charleston in late 2020, but at that time Snip-Tails brother and Amber Eyes disappeared without any evidence, Snip-Tail alone controled Nwaswitshaka pride and sired cubs for about half a year, where he eventually got ousted by 3 Biyamiti males, and is now a nomad.

Snip Tail is 10 yrs old.

They prob have more sons then Renosterkoppies males, but we dont know about them, as they where dominant males for around 5-6 yrs in Kruger.

They have 4 sons in Jock Breakaway pride who are over a year old now if they can make it.

1/3 Biyamiti males, easily recognised by his left eye. He looks quite skinny, but he has been busy mating.

Shishangeni males were born in 2010-11, so they are 10-12 yrs old. They were 4 initially but now only 2 are remains. Besides the remaining vurhami male Mo, do they sire any more sons???

Great sighting of Kinkytail & S36 male on the move. A coalition in their prime near Skukuza. Kinkytail resembling his relative Old Lubyelubye here.

RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Brahim - 01-23-2022

Shishangeni males have Smudge Hippo pools who is with a new partner now with some lioness. They have two other hippo pools males who are nomadic now seen recently. And they have 3 young males still with the pride who will be gone soon too.  plus new cubs with the pride. And thats what we know about probably some unknowns as the pride splits and rarely gets together

Amazingly, Kinkytail (top) looks a lot like DM Majinglane (bottom):

Im not sure but they could be fathers to Mjejane males. This means that the Mjejanes killed 4 of their half-brothers

The guys with Old Lubyelubye are different. They maybe part of those 5 young males from Gomondwane area. Not entirely sure. Old Lubyelubye lost lubye pride in 2016 and went South North of h5 in h4-2 and had another pride. He was seen seen with young ones. Not sure what happened to those guys either.

On that link its Tshokwane male, but yea, his pride had cubs already when his son was alive.

Him linking with other males might meant that he lost that pride (maybe to s26 males from the west?).
