The Trichard males are all huge, and in great shape, not sure who gave the young maneless Mazithi those bite marks on his back, but I somehow doubt it was the 5 Trichards. I couldn't agree more, if they meet up with the Trichards, there is no way that ends well for the youngsters. Dont know who is that older male.. @Brahimlegend are those the same young Mazithis who where believed to be young Muntshe males? RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Cunaguaro - 05-29-2021 Great sighting in Friday morning of the impressive South Shishangeni male by @louis_strauss at @jocksafari Jock Safari, South Africa. Credit: @louis_strauss RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Brahim - 05-29-2021 @Tr1x24 So these 3 youngsters are the younger brothers of the 6 Mazithi/Tshokwane males ( now also 3) . They seem to have an old guy join them at least for half a year or maybe longer. Graeme Mitchley posted pictures of them few months back. Here’s one of all of them and the older male solo RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Tr1x24 - 05-29-2021 (05-29-2021, 02:01 PM)Brahimlegend Wrote: @Tr1x24 So these 3 youngsters are the younger brothers of the 6 Mazithi/Tshokwane males ( now also 3) . RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Brahim - 05-29-2021 @Tr1x24 Those 3 new Mazithi males who took over in 2016 sired both coalitions. Older guy is unknown where he came from. Also, what have been thinking, maybe these 3 where originaly with the older ones, as older ones where seen as 6 last year??? RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Brahim - 05-29-2021 @Tr1x24 yes and no. There’s controversy if they are sons of Old mazithi or they just took over from them. As some people have found photos of them with their dad (who they partnered with) who’s isn’t old mazithi and some people claim that guy is 1/2 old mazithi. But there’s sightings of old mazithi as nomads and one coming back to pride later and stuff. And also the 3 new mazithi brutally killed smudge and Darkmanes brothers. But the evidence seen points more towards them not being but who knows. I don’t think these are from the 6 because they lost numbers gradually and these seem younger. But I remember asking big on wild, he said he has seen them all since they were cubs and regularly sees this pride and asked him about the muntshe confusion and he said they are 6 mazithi/Tshokwane males and I said and do they also have those younger brothers on h10 with the older male and he said yeah. So that’s how I have taken it. RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Tr1x24 - 05-29-2021 (05-29-2021, 07:25 PM)Brahimlegend Wrote: @Tr1x24 yes and no. Also, are those 3 still alive, i think they where not seen since 2019, right? RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Brahim - 05-29-2021 The 3 new Mazithi males? Are seen not long ago a few times by big on wild and some random people in Kruger groups. But only 2 are alive all sightings in last year only 2. They still rule the same spot RE: Coalitions of Kruger National Park - Brahim - 05-29-2021 This is big on wild August 2020. But I saw sightings until later in year by other people. This year not sure seen any but they have ruled 5 years already I’m sure they can last longer, they still look good.
