That explains why there were not more reports on them. As you mentioned previously, it seems near impossible for these really large coalitions to remain in tact, primarily over dominance and breeding rights typically. I mean, can you imagine if if the Mjejanes had 9 members, with their size, confidence, and ferocity? A group like that could take over all of Kruger, and nobody could do anything about it.

7 Satara Boys!

A great sighting of the coalition made of 7 young males causing havoc in the Satara area. Since they first appeared on the scene August 2020 there has been constant sightings of these 7 boys. This coalition is comprised of two slightly darker, older males who seem more dominant, whilst the other 5 males are blonde still, all impressive already though. Their origin is unknown with a possibility that they came from the southern pride in Lebombo but no evidence has been found.

These boys seem ready to take a territory which is trouble for all the aging coalitions in the area. The Shishangaan males, Sweni males and the lone Kumana male are all at risk from this new force. Enjoy this recent picture of 5 of the 7 males. The question now is, What is next for these 7 brothers!

The Last Vurhami boy "Mo"

"Some photos of the last remaining male, called “Mo” of the Vuhrami coalition which were 6 strong at a time. 5 of his coalition partners were killed by the 3 Mjejane males. Hopefully this boy will now realise that Mjejane is not a safe place to be. With any luck, he might find new coalition partners and form a strong coalition that will dominate one day! He truly is a stunning male"

2/3 Mjejane males were seen today on the Jock concession southern boundary. They were after 3 females from the Jock pride. These females have small cubs fathered by the Eastern Bank male. Will update on what happens next.

It seems that Mjejanes are lacking females in their territory, because their territory is quite big for 3 males, but they still are not satisfied..

Only 2 Mjejanes need to be careful tho, without their biggest and strongest brother Toya, S. Shishangeni and EBM are different beasts then young Vurhamis..

This is apparently them on H2-2, 3 km west of Afsaal, this is quite far from their territory, and around 20 km away from Mjejane Reserve where they where just few days ago :

Mjejane are monsters. I think they will hardly find any match at confrontations with equal numbers and the old EBM and S Shishangeni males should not be able to stop them.

I agree with you that the Eastern Bank and Southern Shishangeni males are not the young Vurhami males and that the Mjejane boys should be careful, but remember the coalition of Mjejane males are a very tight coalition they have always been a good block for years when they have an adversity and besides they are really huge males especially Toya and Pretty Boy, T is the least impressive, on the other hand, the new duo of EB and SS males is a new partnership we will have to see how they act when they are challenged!
