"A nice photo taken by Licinia Machado photography. Diamond Face was a strong male. No one really knows what happened to him but he was in poor condition just before he disappeared in 2015. He had a discolated hip/bad leg and his condition deteriorated quite a bit. He couldn't keep up with his two brothers so he mostly stayed on his own with the Sand River pride. He was a formidable male and a very successful male too. He ruled Maroela Loop with his two brothers for a good few years. The 3 Toulon males are called Dominant Toulon, Shy Toulon and Diamond Face. The remaining two Toulon males are still a force to be reckoned with even though they are 12 years old."

"Eckson saw the Toulon males a few days ago in Kirkman's Kamp. The two Toulon males dominate Maroela Loop and the Eastern part of Lion Sands KNP. They are the pride males of the Sand River pride which consists of 3 adult females and 5 sub adults. The Toulon males have dominated the Maroela Loop area since 2010/11 but over the last 7 months the remaining two Toulon males have been spending most of their time with the Sand River pride in the Sabi Sands area. It looks like they are feeling the pressure from younger males in the Maroela Loop area. It will be interesting to see which males takeover the Maroela Loop area in the next year or so. The Toulon males are 12 years old now."

Savanna Strauss captured this image of 2 the young Eastern Bank Males that, at a relatively young age, are slowly making a name for themselves in the Southern Kruger. Like they say in sport…if you are good enough, you are old enough!

These five boys are sons of the Toulon males, and have already caused the death of one of the powerful Stolsnek males and another one is badly injured.
They will be such a force, amazing boys.

Nsemani Males patrolling their territory during an early morning in March 2013, going about on their patrol, marking their territory and showing what regal beasts they are!.
I know this is an older video, but I'm told they're still dominant males, so I thought I could share this so at least you get a glimpse of these magnificent boys.
