A male Jaguar tried to hunt an anteater. Giant anteater (Myrmecophaga tridactyla) equipped with 4 inch claws is a dangerous opponent. In this video, it defended itself, mauled Jaguar a bit and chased it way.

This guy is The Boss! Juru is a young dominant male jaguar in the northern Pantanal and he was quite the showman one day last September! Chasing vultures. Swimming. Resting. Then grabbing a caiman for his lunch, and mock killing it again. And dragging it out of the water and into a dense thicket.....glaring at the vultures the entire time!

I think Jaguars are the only predators who hunt and eat another deadly predators regularly. Very Impressive.
