"A scaly snack. This caiman crocodile would have far outweighed this female jaguar but after killing it with a bite to the base of the skull - jaguars have particularly long canines and a bite force calculated to be greater even than lions & tigers - she proceeded to drag the weighty reptile up the river bank, over a fallen log and into the undergrowth. We estimated the caiman would have tipped the scales at more than 80kg."

In the video description the poster says it was a bush dog but I think in english could be this one you mentioned, here in portuguese the names are different and might get confused thats why the scientific name is there.

Note just like some collared individuals in the video captured by IOP there's a big Cerrado male with collar at 2:24min. I wonder how heavy he was.

Jaguar predates 3 adult female Buffalos in the municipality of Puerto Parra in 2015.
''Three buffaloes were found dead with signs of predation that coincide with the presence of a jaguar in the area. Comprehensive measures are required to prevent such events.
Three adult buffalo carcasses were found in a buffalo breeding farm on the shores of the department of Santander. The owners and employees of this farm, located in the jurisdiction of the municipality of Puerto Parra, were stunned by the discovery of the partially deprecated bodies. Although it is true that the floodable areas of the Magdalena Medio are the natural habitat of the jaguar, this is the first time that a situation like this has been reported in the municipality of Puerto Parra.
Because of the type of injuries and the size of the animals affected professional experts confirmed that the predator was a jaguar. Precisely within the diversity of wild cats present in Colombia, the jaguar is the only one capable of knocking down and killing an animal the size of a buffalo.''

"Usually, exotic and invasive species are a major threat to native wildlife: they compete with local species, introduce parasites and diseases, and hinder the ecological regime. But a rare case occurred in the Pantanal. Here, an introduced mammal has helped the conservation of local wildlife" - Environmental News Network
Pigs were introduced to the Pantanal about 200 years ago. Usually the introduction of exotic animals is always bad for biodiversity and the local ecosystem. Especially pigs, due to their voracious appetite and the habit of eating roots. They also carry diseases, spoil plants and small animal populations. Despite all this, this did not happen in the Pantanal.
Until 1967 commercial hunting was a threat to the biodiversity of the Pantanal. The introduction of pigs alleviated the hunting of native animals, giving the chance for populations to rise again. Many in the Pantanal, until today, prefer to hunt these fertile pigs instead of wild animals, because of the ease of finding them, their large numbers and because they provide a good amount of meat. Hunting monastery pigs is part of the culture of the Pantanal.
As in the Ecological Refuge Caiman hunting is strictly forbidden we could imagine that the population of these monastery pigs would get out of control, but this does not happen because the jaguars keep this population balanced.''
