""Siyambalagaswewa male", one of the biggest(probably the biggest) leopards I've seen in Sri Lanka. We were lucky enough to get a glimpse of him during this weekend at Yala National Park."

What a beautiful beast. Small head, but huge body.

Srilankan leopards seem to be having longer and robust tails, a prominent feature among alpha predators in their ecosystem.

"It is hard to top days like this. A vintage Yala leopard sighting of a mating couple taken in Modaragala over the weekend. It has been a few years since I got a good sighting in Yala and this was truly a special moment which will not be forgotten."

A great start to the Yala tour – 4 different leopard sightings kept the whole day packed with action. Super opportunities and some half decent images too. Happy and grateful for a fantastic day thanks to the skills of the awesome duo Mevan Piyasena & Janaka.
