Birmingham Boys and Lionesses feeding on hippo carcass - Wild Warrior - 07-27-2017

Male lions get really aggressive when it comes girls and food. If they don't get comfortable, they simply charge on anyone no matter what the consequences are. These Birmingham Boys are really mean when it comes about food..

Cheetah Plains Private Game Reserve:
One of the BIRMINGHAM (Nhenha) male lions was resting up in the far north this morning. He appeared to be incredibly well fed, and we expect to be able to catch up with him this evening.

Three Birmingham Boys in Mala Mala Game Reserve... - Wild Warrior - 07-29-2017

The roars of the lions have dominated the night skies of Mala Mala recently. Lions could be heard through the night both opposite and south of the camp. It seemed like Birmingham Boys on a mission..

When you wake up for an early morning game drive you never know what you're going to see. You might just bump into a big male lion walking down the road.
