Nsuku is the oldest and the most dominant as well as far as I know. Mfumo gets aggressive with Tinyo a lot and seems to be 2nd in command, Mfumo is the biggest and youngest of the group, and has a very scarred face.

I guess the dominance is between #1 and #2, I would say #1 because he's older.

Between the other two, #3 is certainly the dominant one.

Jaxi's Sabi House:

One of the BIRMINBGHAM male lions was moving up to the STYX lionesses. We suspect that the male was at the current den site with the rest of the pride!

From Jaci's Sabi House
Male lions become very protective of a lioness when she is coming into oestrus. The male lion on the left was rather aggressive to his coalition brother who moved into the area!

Sightings Update:

18 March 2017
Afternoon Drive.

-Started out with a nice big herd of Elephants crossing North over the main road.
-Saw three, Dagga Boys and one Elephant bull close to one of the airstrips in the west.
-Saw the Nkuhuma lion pride again, they were up and mobile moving more east from where they were seen in the morning.
-Tried finding Shadow again but without any luck.
-Plenty of birds and general game through the drive.

19 March 2017
Morning Drive.

-Found Inkanyeni, she was just west of our lodge moving more south, she tried catching a Steenbok but failed, after a while she caught a mouse and continued moving South out of our property.
-Saw a small herd of Elephants playing around in the drizzle.
-Went west were we saw the Nkuhuma pride as well as two of the Birmingham males sleeping in some very thick bushes.

Cold, wet and seriously irritated was the foundation of this menacing look. That look when you say to yourself this guy means business..!
