This is one of the Birmingham males. When they came into the area at first they created big chaos,but it was very nice to see their first cubs with the Nkuhuma pride this week.

that's a lot of cubs:) beautiful pictures of the pride strolling together thanks for posting @Majingilane :) would be great if all of them made it to adulthood:)

#229: Yes, impressive fact to see invariably that, thank to the males, the lionesses are pregnant at the same time, and thus the cubs are of the same age. The pride becomes a "child care". Good for the photos, but perhaps a little stressful stage in life for the lionesses...

I think it's amazing to see all the little cubs together.

As for if it's stressful or not, I think it is rather a time of stability for the pride.

After the takeover, after having their cubs killed, their "husbands" kicked out and some of them also killed, the lionesses can now trust this males, they know they will protect them and their cubs, so now I would say there is peace in the family.
