Seeing they abandoned their push on Birminghams they are for once seen in Djuma doesn't make sense. Avocas already raised their generation in Talamati and Nkuchuma prides and are up searching for next matting opportunitys and they will not just abandon that task without reason to do so. I do not think 2 females will solve the issue for more than a short while. RE: The Birmingham Males - Duco Ndona - 10-16-2021 It could be any reason actually. New mating oportunities could be openining up in their own prides. They may be sticking closer to deal with the PC males. Or they simply may not like the grass in that area or gotten bored of it. Ultimately they are living beings with a mind of their own and anyone that owned cats knows how fickle they can be. Its not like they are being forced to push south. It was entirely due to to greed. New mating oportunities could be openining up in their own prides. It theory yes, but in practice it looks different. In practice it is rather rare that the males raise two generations within one pride, they prefere to expand over other prides than staying with the same pride. Unless coalitions around are too strong to expand on them the males rather won't stick to the pride they already raised generation at. (10-16-2021, 03:05 AM)Duco Ndona Wrote: They may be sticking closer to deal with the PC malesPC males are not challanging Avocas, at least for now, they are not a problem. (10-16-2021, 03:05 AM)Duco Ndona Wrote: Its not like they are being forced to push south. It was entirely due to to greed. It is, but the point is why would they stop their greed. The only reason I can see is if they would be forced to it, if they would be beaten up and forced to go back north which did not happen. So far Birminghams did not put enough resistance to force Avocas to reconsider their desire for expansion on their lands and pride. RE: The Birmingham Males - Duco Ndona - 10-16-2021 While they would try to expand their horizon at that point. Its not like they are going to say no to sex and free food. Taking over the Kambulas took apparently longer than anticipated. So perhaps they may go to Mhangeni, Talamati or Torchwood next. They have plenty of other options than playing hide and seek with the BBoys and Kambulas. The PC males are not challenging them. But they are kinda pests in their eyes. So doing some pest control also takes some of their time. RE: The Birmingham Males - T I N O - 10-26-2021 The mighty Nhenha ,,The warrior" at MalaMala Game Reserve in early October. With nearly 11 years old. Both Birmingham males are still doing a great job. Now raising another generation of cubs. The Birmingham males offspring is pretty alive in Sabi Sands, with 1 Styx, 4 Nkuhumas, around 9 Torchwoods, 12 Kambulas, 1 Mhangeni, 1 Tsalala, and if you add the new11 cubs of the Kambula pride, they've sired almost 40 offspring in six years of their reign. What a successful coalition Photo courtesy of: Sandra *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author *This image is copyright of its original author

There is a theory That White dot is Nhenha's mother. That would make Nhenha the older brother of both the Red Road Male and the Birmingham Young Male. And it would also make Nhenha the first son of White Dot from her first litter. |
