I agree although the idea of forum is that anyone is giving a little bit from himself, not just waiting till one person  will do anythink and the rest will just watch.

True, that´s why it´s good that you, @Mohawk4, @AbcXyz and some others have been lately active here updating some threads. Lion coalitions are interesting, here are many good posters updating tiger threads. Lion coalition updates have been at some point maybe in a bit passive state, but very good that again posters who make good and interesting postings!

Because now we just formed a brand new "lion posters coalition"  Lol

They have been quite unlucky as a coalition, from 5 members to 3 and possibly 2 and non of the losses were from major conflicts with other coalitions

Very interesting the link you gave ! Thank to the lions' social life the Nsuku's life isn't over. His mane is a "marker", the hope remains. Is it not already a miracle, is it ?

I did not realize he's been injured for so long, that darkens the matters here. It would have healed by now if it could have, it seems like it has gone past the injury stage and more into the permanent disability stage. It's very sad but it's just a matter of time now I think, it's just amazing to see how long a Lion can survive with the help of his Pride and coalition.

They were unluck from one side, but from the other the were lucky to life in peaceful times without being pressured by any coalition.

Yeah, Nsuku already proved that he won't go down easly.

The injured Birmingham Male makes his way slowly through the bed of the Sand river. This male is still holding on, despite a severely atrophied back right leg.

sizanni of the thanda impi males lasted for about a year with a hip injury. he couldn't keep up with the pride to feed regularly and eventually succumb to his injury. i think the difference between there and here is that the mbiri pride at the time was on the run from the northern avocas and Sizanni couldn't keep up.  here, there is no threat to cause the kambula's to run so hopefully nsuku can feed regularly.
