Both Amur and Bengal have massive canine root, whereas the lion as a pride animal, their canine root wasn't fully developed like that of the tiger.

Some captive Amur tiger canines tend to be a bit weaker and less robust, since they didn't have a chance to fully develop the same magnitude of robustness compared to their wild counterparts.
However, this is not the absolute, many captive male Amur tigers can also develop very large robust canine teeth.

Here is a very large male jaguar that got killed by poachers, the upper canine from gumline is 4.6 cm, and the entire upper canine should be close to 10 cm.
The lower canine from gumline is 4.2 cm, and the entire lower canine should be around 8.5 cm.

The roots are quite unusually-thick for those of any big cat, but I digress, tigers have thicker canine roots than lions.

Those large 6+ inches tiger canine teeth are usually very robust in proportion.
If the width/length ratio of the normal big cat is around 0.25, then those robust tiger canine teeth usually exceed 0.3.
