Info on programs - peter - 07-27-2015 The ARD (one of the German broadcasting companies) recently started a new series on volonteers working in African parks: 'Am Kap der wilden Tiere'. I saw the first today and concluded it could be interesting. Here's the link: http://www.daserste.de/ One of the volonteers who featured had worked in the Hamburg Zoo before he went to Africa. If I remember correctly, a volonteer gets a 3-month contract. I wouldn't say it's big, but in Holland and Germany young people interested in wildlife and prepared to work as a volonteer somewhere in Africa are not few. RE: Excellent Wildlife and Nature Videos - bigcatlover - 10-07-2018 I am hyped for this show RE: Excellent Wildlife and Nature Videos - brotherbear - 10-30-2018 Not sure where to post this, but great new tv show: https://www.couriermail.com.au/entertainment/confidential/crikey-its-the-irwins-set-to-air-on-animal-planet/news-story/4fa8fd3d6d3826293bf7f4b0e135d146 RE: Info on programs - Rishi - 11-05-2018 Trailer of Khamma Gir Ne, a feature film painstakingly & singlehandedly created on the controversial side of Gir region, the part skipped by one-sided documentaries like India's Wandering Lions. This is probably also going to be equally cherrypicked, but the creator Narendra Mojidra attracted a lot of heat due to it, even death threats!
