Monster tom from Arizona

Based on footage that I've seen the cougars from Arizona appear to be consistently great in size. An in-depth study on the morphology of this population would be interesting.

Great record, she stood her ground nicely and only started to run when the wolves outnumbered her. I think a mature tom would not have backed off.

If she stayed at the carcass, the uncollared gray would have also taken part in the interaction. That uncollared wolf was hesitant and felt that the couguar was leaving, so he [or she] didn't need to chase her off probably. But 217F & 261M would have confronted the cougar at the carcass if it stayed and with the influence of those, the uncollared wolf would had join and a 3 vs 1 would had ensued in my opinion.
