Epic video of Hosana male brawling with the larger Anderson while being surrounded by multiple hyenas. Most surprising part is Hosana being the aggressor!

And what's with Anderson lately? He was infamous for his enourmous size and now all of a sudden Hukumuri is pushing him and now even Hosana dares to physically engage him.
Anderson recently pushed Hukumuri off his kill though so it's going to be interesting to see what's gonna happen in the future. Anderson will have to look out though.
As for Hosana, if he becomes as large as his father (Tingana), he will be a force to be reckoned with. He has already showed us some impressive feats; stealing a kill from a hyena larger than him and now confronting a larger male. He isn't even in his prime yet...

Not sure how much and for how long do leopards grow but he is already what 3 and a half years old and the size difference is still huge I don't know if he will ever be as big as Tingana.
What this video shows is that the difference in size between Anderson and Tingana must not be very significant, sure Tingana has lost a lot of muscle mass but they must be very close in size, sadly the coverage around the time Anderson and Tingana were fighting for the same territory was minimal and there isn't anything about their interactions.

Leopards are in their prime at 7-8 years so he can still grow big and he has his father genes so time will tell how big he will become. It's still remarkable what happened here. Regarding Anderson, I'm guessing age must be a thing to consider (he's born in 2008) plus the fact he's been in some tough situations recently; he had a naste wound after what was presumed to be a failed warthog predation and a little later he was seen battered and bruised.

Molwati male. Scent marking and sawing around the Djuma dam last night. He is a potential father of Thandi and Sibuye cubs. Interestingly, a night before he was at Nkorho.

On Anderson Leopard.
"It soon became clear, though, that things weren’t right with him: the leopard had a large gash on its neck and was breathing rapidly and heavily. Looking at his battle-scarred face and ragged tail, we realized Anderson was not long for this world; Greg estimated he had only a week left. A wave of sadness washed over our bumble as we came to terms with what we were seeing: almost certainly one of the last sightings of this mythical fixture of Londolozi’s leopard landscape.
Once again Greg switched off the headlights, leaving us to sit silently in the company of this still formidable animal at the end of its days, able to see only its hulking silhouette in the sand. That’s when the Ntsevu cubs arrived.
As the pride materialized out of the darkness, bounding over a crest in the riverbed, my heart pounded in my chest: over a dozen lions trotting toward us, and a leopard in the same sighting! But the lions were moving at a serious clip, and the excitement gave way to dread as we registered that they’d detected the Anderson male’s scent and pegged him as an easy target. We all held our breath and braced for a gruesome fight.
Whether it was our spotlight or the sound of the lions that tipped him off, the Anderson male dipped into whatever energy reserves he had left and zipped out of sight with one or two seconds to spare. As we let out a collective sigh of relief, the lions turned to the female nyala kill stashed under a nearby tree, attacking it with incredible ferocity. It was an emotionally charged moment, one that revealed the flip side of Londolozi’s bounty of leopards. It’s easy to become so attached to individual leopards here that this part of a leopard’s circle of life becomes hard to swallow.
But long after the Anderson male stops making headlines in the lunchtime leopard newsroom, we can continue to reflect happily on a wild life well lived and, even in his final days, the endless awe he inspired."

- The last known photo series of the Anderson male show a leopard in a very poor state.
- A severely sunken stomach and partly atrophied condition are sure signs that the Anderson male was not long for this world.
- I t is a shame that a once impressive creature should be in such a decline in his last months.

As we can see rangers very pessimistic about chances to survive but i think if he hasnt serious internal injuries i hope this big fella still able defeat difficulties. Otherwise it will be a big loss for us.
