The White Dam/Calabash female, is dead. The mother of the White Dam male.
From Umkumbe Game Lodge:
"It is with great sadness that we inform you of the untimely death of yet another Sabi Sand leopard. Our 11 year old graceful beauty, White Dam, passed away over the weekend. Otherwise known as the Calabash female, this leopardess was one of our commonly spotted cats on the Umkumbe traverse. The unmistakeable mark in her left eye that looks like a pterygium made her easily identifiable. She was discovered dead up a tree yesterday, with a male leopard in the same tree. It is thought that the male killed her and there was speculation that he was feeding off her carcass. R.I.P White Dam - your legend will forever live on in our traverse. Thank you to ranger Nadia Bester for these images."

"The young White Dam male was stalking Kudu during a mid-morning safari this weekend, however, strong winds gave away his position and he was left hungry. He was seen again the following day sleeping next to an Impala kill, with an audience including the Little Bush female and a few Hyenas at the base of the tree."

"Little Bush was still found on her recent impala ewe kill that she had stashed up in a large Jackalberry tree, however it was short lived when the White Dam male showed up and finished off the remains. Little Bush female seemed quite relaxed and showed submissive gestures, possibly meaning she was back in oestrus and the potential of mating with this particular male leopard could be on the cards again!"

"The White Dam male was seen to be all by himself after possibly completing a four-day mating run with the Little Bush female, however it seemed she wasn't quite done with him as audio of her contact calling near Selati Camp was heard late on Saturday night."

"The White Dam male and the Msuthlu female have been seen mating for the last three days. However, the two were interrupted by the Maxabeni male, the dominant male of the area and interesting behaviour was seen. Both males were seen to be mating with the Msuthlu female within regular intervals until Maxabeni lost interest and moved off, leaving his son to continue mating."
