"After spotting the young White Dam male from the deck of Selati Camp, we made our way to relocate him and found his father, Maxabeni, actively scent marking and vocalising in the same area and eventually making his way through his territory towards Bush Lodge."

A rare shot of the Inyathini male out in the open as he crosses a sodic site. 

This male has been expanding his territory of late, and from this morning to the next walked a huge loop, clashing with the Piva male in the evening then being found mating with a new leopard on Londolozi, the Lookout female, the next morning.

"White Dam male was at it again as he followed a large herd of buffalo and got chased a few times by big bulls but kept on looping around trying to get a calf hanging around the front."

"A change in dynamics, as White Dam's young cub, the offspring to Maxabeni, has been seen getting closer and closer to the Little Bush Female over the last few months. To our amazement, these two have been seen mating over the last two days. Interesting to see what will happen as soon as Maxabeni locates his now sexually mature cub mating with one of the many females within his territory."

"White Dam male and Little Bush female were still seen mating where after the male managed to kill a tree squirrel. He then started to move away from the female, stopping every so often to actively scent mark."

"Saw Mr Anderson, he was in the western sector, and was walking through some very thick bush, so we quickly lost him. Did manage to see him lying on a termite mound though."

We are having an amazing time on our Photo Safari at Nkorho Bush Lodge. One of my favorite sightings: Mr Anderson (the biggest leopard in Sabi Sands) running away from a Hyena to the closest tree with a Warthog in his mouth.

This was truly an amazing display of raw power. Photo taken on 9 August 2017.

Morning drive.

- Mr Anderson was found with a whorthog kill but was stolen by Hyenas. But the fight wasnt over yet as Mr Anderson took back what was his.

The Piva male hunkers down, trying to avoid being spotted by this giraffe. Later in the sighting when the giraffe lost interest, the leopard crept forward to stalk the wildebeest, hoping to find an unsuspecting youngster in the group. Although wildebeest are very much on the outer reaches of what a leopard is capable of hunting, big male leopards such as the Piva male have been recorded killing wildebeest before.

Another male leopard killed by lions! The Piva male, also known as Treehouse male, is dead.

From Mala Mala Game Reserve:

"Leopards: the Treehouse male was killed by lions during the early hours of Saturday morning. Nobody saw it happen but evidence suggests that he was ripped out of a small tree by 2 young male lions. His untimely death casts a grave and ominous shadow of uncertainty over the future of his latest offspring. Will the Tamboti female manage to overcome the odds this time? In other leopard news, the Split Rock male is back after a lengthy absence- he was viewed yesterday at Styx Waterhole. On Thursday we watched the Bicycle Crossing male steal an impala kill from the Calabash female at Charleston North. Yesterday the Island female showed off her skill and agility when she brought down an impala in the Sand River right in front of us. The Senegal Bush male and Sibuye female were also viewed."
