Ximhungwe lioness shows great parenting skills when she takes food (an impala she stole from a leopard) to her cubs (The sons of the notorious Mr.T Mapogo). This way she does not risk losing it  whist she goes to fetch them
the lioness unfortunately died after getting caught in a snare and the cubs struggled to get back into the pride. One was killed by the Dewane male leopard and the other, despite Mr T Mapogo protecting him, didn't get enough food from the pride and died.
Dated December 2011
