Awesome teamwork and impressive strength, he didn't  wait for the Buffalo to get settled and deliver a kick, he dragged him backwaters before the Buffalo could get his bearings.

How Dreadlocks Mapogo is poached according to Willem Botha

"Dreadlocks also left the reserve in the north of the reserve at the Kokovelo river where he on various occasions left the reserve to seek easy prey in the community outside the reserve. There he was caught in a snare which was set near a carcass of a cow which he caught the previous night."

RE: The mighty Mapogos - fursan syed - 11-01-2016

On answering my question about Dreadlocks Poaching Colleen Holland said: It was also reported by Rudi of Idube and confirmed by land owner in Sabi Sand that the SS anti poaching team caught the poacher and found a Mapogo skin and a male leopard (tegwaan) in his hut. That makes me believe that Dreadlocks and Tegwaan were probably snared within the boundaries of Sabi Sand. Most likely in the vast northern property known as Othawa/Robson.

I wonder who is this leopard they're referring to.

Maybe it's a western leopard that was given the same name, because the one I know is called this way was born the same year as the Mapogos and is still alive and dominant.

i dont know about a leopard. This is the words of colleen. But it is now 100% confirmed that dreadlocks was poached. This is also confirmed by willem botha.
