And that would have put him at 15 right?  Hell of a run for a lion like that!!!

Didnt he alone return to MalaMala for last time?

Yes, Makhulu returned alone to Malala back in January 2013 because it looks like PB was gone.
see  https://blog.sunsafaris.com/2013/04/legend-lives-on-mopogo-lions-over-the-last-year/

And it looks like it was the last sighting, however, he could've lived a few more months because he wasn't in bad condition.
see https://secretafrica.com/the-notorious-mapogo-lions-of-the-sabi-sand-game-reserve/ and https://pemburytours.com/mapogo-lions/

PB was last seen in October 2012 with Makhulu feeding on a buffalo so he must've died sometime after that.

@T_Ferguson 14.

He was estimated by Mala Mala to have been born in octuber 1998. Mala Mala first saw him as a subadult in mid 2000.

As far I remember that was an old male which many believed was Makhulu, but later was confirmed that wasn’t Makhulu

Big mak was last seen in Malamala in January 2013.
At the time, Big mak estimated that he was about 16 years old.
It's not 100% perfect but I think this post tells the whole history of mapogos.
I hope this helps @T_Pergusson friend.

Today is March 16th in Korea, so I was depressed all day and cried a little while lying down after work.

It's 11:27 p.m. here, and ..
In 30 minutes, the anniversary of My Boy's departure from Earth will be over and it will be the 17th.

It's a night that's hard to describe in words.

RE: The Mighty Mapogos - veritas - 03-16-2023

If you like Makhulu, I don't know if you've seen this video.

The title of this video doesn't make any sense that he's Makhulu, but you can tell right away by looking at his face.

I laughed so hard when I first found this video that I couldn't believe it.

I've never seen a dominant male lion bother a female lion before.

It's really funny, so take a look, bro.

Almost all reports also state the same thing about Mak.
Very sorry to hear the hard time you're going through. I hope you @veritas  to feel better and move on.

All, the recent bannings of @Leo Aslan and @fursan syed were the result of some lengthy discussions amongst the WildFact Team. It was due to their repeatedly posting videos from their personal Youtube channels and little else, including rarely ever taking part in any discussions outside of their video posts, including when people ask questions directly related to the posts they've made. The videos they post are cobbled collections made by others, without giving proper credit to the original creators.
