#wonderland is always where wonders happen, recently I enjoyed what I call the battle of jaw, power and number along Mara river where two of musketeers killed hippo, which I missed it like less than twenty or so minutes, nevertheless, what I saw was jaw dropping stuff, Morani was an incredible male who managed to defend the kill while hunter was resting.. The following pictures are the testimony of what happen.

Morani, one of the 4 musketeers!
Saw all four close to the main crossing ! It was so amazing!
I will show you the photos in the coming days. This is one of my favorite image. Morani has been drinking in a pond and after that he was on the way to Hunter. He greeted him briefly and then went on to his sleeping place.

David Lloyd Wildlife Photography:

This is Scar, with is famous scar above the eye. Scar is possibly the most iconic lion in the Maasai Mara right now. He's had his scar since about 2012, and unfortunately for him it's bothered him since then. It doesn't help when he keeps scratching it, especially at various times when it looked almost healed.

I've been wanting a portrait of Scar for some years now, and in August he finally let me.

"The fact is that no species has ever had such wholesale control over everything on earth, living or dead, as we now have. That lays upon us, whether we like it or not, an awesome responsibility. In our hands now lies not only our own future, but that of all other living creatures with whom we share the earth."
~ Sir David Attenborough

it is good to see that his wound is healing and his vision is unaffected
