RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 09-27-2016 Another video now, credits to Rob the Ranger. RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 10-02-2016 Report for August from Singita - Sabi Sand. Lions: There has been some great lion viewing once again, with the Othawa pride, Mhangene pride and the four old Majingilane males making up the bulk of the viewing. With the four adult lionesses of the Mhangene pride having all produced cubs this year (some of which are still very young), the nine sub-adult members of the pride have continued to operate separately from their mothers. They have sometimes been seen all together, and sometimes the young females are separate from the young males. All the lions seem to be doing very well in terms of nourishing themselves, and buffaloes have featured prominently in their diets. RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Ngala - 10-03-2016 From Singita: "One of the male lions from the Majingalane coalition was on the move this morning in search of the Othowa pride." *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Gamiz - 10-05-2016 ''All four Majingilanes are with the Othawa pride, the lioness that was pregnant has given birth, and there is a kudu kull in the area too, on drive, now'' From Idube Game Reserve *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 10-05-2016 It is so wonderful, I hope she doesn't lose them this time. Just like that, the number of heirs the Majingilane have has grown once again, their legacy or at least what we men can consider a legacy, because lions really don't care about it in the way we do, is still growing despite their age. RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 10-05-2016 Credits to Idube Game Reserve. Golden Mane was with Hip Scar, later Scar Nose joined them. *This image is copyright of its original author Dark Mane stole the wild dogs second impala kill, he was with an Othawa lioness and the two subadults. *This image is copyright of its original author
RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 10-07-2016 Credits to Rob the Ranger, featuring Dark Mane and Golden Mane. RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 10-13-2016 Singita report for September: Lions: Lions continue to dominate the area with their predominant movement along the Sand River. Within a short period of six days the Mhangene pride managed to kill seven buffaloes. Three buffaloes were killed in each of two separate sightings. They have managed to maintain their dominant behaviour within the area and their den-site has been kept along the river, just east of Singita Boulders Lodge. The coalitions of Majingalane male lions have been enjoying the feast of buffaloes, somewhat to the disapproval of the lionesses from the Mhangene pride. RE: History most brutal killers, the Majingilane Male Lions - Tshokwane - 10-14-2016 Hip Scar, credits to Diane Hendrick Frye. Notice his excellent shape. This is exactly the reason why I ignored the little whinings of some over social media when he was skinny. *This image is copyright of its original author
