When the magingalines patrol do all four go together or do they split up.

Nice video it's the first time I have ever seen what is thought to be the 5th with his brothers

RE: History most brutal killer, the Majingilane Male Lions - LionKiss - 02-03-2016

as it has been said earlier initially there were 7 of them but they lost 2 in their first expeditions,
it is very weird to be all brothers, don't you think?

First seen in the Djuma area during the latter part of 2009. Some reports of there being six. First thought to be the three Nkuhuma sub adult males and the three Windmill young males. That was later found to not be so even though a Nkuhuma young male was reported to have joined them in the Djuma area in May but later they were seen chasing the same young male and other members of the Nkuhuma pride all the way to the Manyeleti border to the North.
The Majingilane coalition is thought to have come into the area from either Kruger National Park or Manyeleti. Manyeleti has a coalition of five young males that were accompanied by their mother until early in 2010 when she was injured by a buffalo and presumed to have died. Their descriptions match that of the Majingilane males

Not really. It all depends on the size of the pride, but I don't think it is weird. A bit rare maybe, considering that cubs not always make it to adulthood, but not weird.

They do it in all the ways you can imagine. Usually, in a coalition, the males have a favourite with whom they spend more time, like the two southern Matimbas or Kinky tail and Mr.T.

But the Majingilane seem to have a very special bond all four of them, and this has been noticed by the rangers that see them. One day they can be patrolling 2 and 2 males and maybe the next day the pairs have changed. They also seem very fond of patrolling together and also sometimes one is away with some of the girls and the other three go out on patrol.

Some examples of this.

Then you have the pairings.

Apparently he is, at least that's what I've read.

Another video of the boys, back in 2010 a month later after they took over the territory from the Mlowathi males. Also, this was filmed the 5th of July, just a few days before the big fight of the 9th of July in Elephant Plains, where they battled against the Mapogo males, Rasta and Pretty Boy and killed Rasta, leaving Pretty Boy injured.

You can see Hip Scar very protective of their kill, not wanting the vultures to come and eat despite his full belly and towards the end of the video a great show of their bond, with him going and rubbing heads with Scar Nose and then the same with Dark Mane. A great video.
