⁣⁣
⁣When tiger cubs are born, the female is alone - the father usually has nothing to do with the birth or rearing of his cubs.⁣
⁣⁣
⁣In each litter, there is likely to be one dominant cub - usually a stronger, larger male. This cub will lead his pack of siblings and dictate to them when they should sleep, play and eat. This cub will continue to dominate them until they leave their mother to become independent. He will eat more than them and be favored by the mother.⁣
⁣⁣
⁣By about eight weeks, they will leave the concealment of their den and their mother will begin teaching them how to hunt for their own prey. Male cubs are more adventurous than their female siblings, which may account for the survival rate of females being higher.⁣
⁣⁣
⁣In this image you see the dominant cub chilling next to its father.⁣

Is there a proper directory of the tigers in Tiger Canyon? Containing details such as the name and origins of each tiger, how they are related to the original two introduced to the reserve or a family tree?

Hunting feats of Tiger Canyon's first tigers — Ron and Julie. The feats below will really be important since Ron and Julie were not trained by a female wild tiger. These are captive-born tigers who were able to learn survival skills in the wild, thanks to the conditions created by naturalist John Varty and trainer Dave Salmoni. Brother and sister Ron and Julie were released into the reserve after they successfully became wild. I cut the first 10 videos from "Living with Tigers", and the next 2 videos I cut from "Tiger Man of Africa".

Ron caught the warthog, and Julie joined in the killing.

Age of Tigers: ~ 1 year 4 months.

Ron catches an african guinea fowl.

Age of Tigers: Almost 2 years.

Chasing a herd of blesboks. Julie cuts off one blesbok from the herd and drives it into the thicket. She caught her first antelope.

Age of Tigers: ~ 1 year 12 months.

The joint hunt of Ron and Julie, who have been inseparable since birth. Tigers are not pack hunters, at the same time they are able to hunt together if desired.

Age of Tigers: About 2 years.

Ron single-handedly caught a blesbok.

Age of Tigers: ~ 2 years and 4 months.

Julie caught a monkey in the water.

Age of Tigers: ~ 2 and a half years.

Julie chases a herd of wildebeest, and Ron thanks to his patience and camouflage catches one of the adult wildebeest.

Age of Tigers: ~ 2 years and 11 months.

Ron and Julie are chasing ostriches. During the chase, Julie overtook Ron, which prompted him to accelerate. The ostrich was caught.

Age of Tigers: About the same age.

Ron and Julie massacred antelopes while hunting. Chasing the herd, Ron and Julie managed to kill 7 antelopes.

Age of Tigers: About the same age.

Ron and Julie were separated and released into the wild. Behind the scenes, Ron killed a wildebeest.

Age of Tigers: About 4 years.

Next, I will give a couple of Julie's feats from the documentary "Tiger Man of Africa".

Julie catches a male impala.

Age of Tigers: About 9 years.

Noticing the warthog, Julie crept up to him and killed him.

Age of Tigers: About the same age.

These are baited instances unfortunately.

If we talk about the Impala, then I also thought about it when viewing. At the same time, I noticed similar catches in other tigers.

As for the capture of the warthog, there is nothing unusual there. The usual hunt. I can provide a longer excerpt where Julie spotted him from a great height and headed towards him, if you want.
