I'm sure they did, they captured a family of tigers killing a 20 year old male Rhino as well, getting them to share the incident though is beyond me, we'd need a contact in the fd.

Raees Alam, skilled driver of the Ranthambhore was driving the tourists’ jeep in the area, suddenly he heard alarm call of spotted deer and sambhar deer, he realized that it is indication of the Tiger’s presence in the area, At the same time he took the safari jeep in the direction of alarm calls and they saw Tigress T 19 or Krishna walking along the dirt track in Park and in her jaws a young leopard apparently killed by her. It was the result of panther’s cub offence which was entering into territory of new Queen of Ranthambore. Even, the back part of the leopard ’cub had been eaten by Tigress. It was around 9 am incident when she was hunt of the leopard ‘cub. She brought and dragged him into the Raj Bag area of the Ranthambore National Park.

At present, Tigress T 19 with her three cubs has territory and movements in zone no.3 in Ranthambore. Usually tiger and tigress do not like the intrusion of other wild animal in their area. According to sources, Panther‘s cub would be about one year old and he was separated from his mother and entered the Tigress T 19 territory, and it deemed a threat to her cubs and she attacked and killed.

There were deep wound in the panther throat by tigress. Although it is said and heard many times such incidents have been taken place but the sight was rare. Even the wildlife lovers and photographers do not often get opportunity to capture such images during their Ranthambore Wildlife Tour.
