A report from Legend Safaris today:

"This afternoon’s drive was nothing short of amazing. We kicked off the drive with an impressive bull elephant close to camp, before heading towards the south western section of Singita to view a cheetah that had made a kill.

When we got into the cheetah sighting, he was busy feeding on a baby blue wildebeest kill which we suspect he killed during the rain a couple of hours before. We watched in amazement as the cheetah was not bothered by us viewing him feed from a relatively close distance. Eventually he was so full that he left the kill and went to rest in the open".

A report from The conservation vet today:

"These two young male cheetahs had gone walk about after escaping the reserve they were on following some heavy flooding and fence damage. Fortunately they are pretty relaxed cats and collared, so with the help of Selati research, we quickly had them darted and on their way back home".
Note: The conservation vet didn't state what reserve these cheetahs were on. At least, these cheetahs are safe and well.

Can you re-host any Facebook link images to imgur please? Facebook for some reason changes the URLS of images after a while and they become blank on the forum (like potatos posts).

Cheetah in the Kruger National Park are well known for using the park's roadsigns as elevated vantage points to spot prey and lookout for any potential danger. In this instance, they use Shishangeni Lodge roadsign.

Seeing a mother cheetah with two cubs a few months old is a point of joy. The density of predators (lions and hyenas) are high-powered obstacles to inhibit greater numbers of the specie. A good video, as well as seeing the landscape of the park very green, which enhances better shelters for the two puppies.
