When was this? We've not been short on lion sightings but males around Satara for us have been... scarce.

Wrong place at the wrong time I guess.

@Wyld@Heart That's unfortunate hopefully it turns around, where have you looked? The young Shish males have moved north of Satara on the H1-4 lately.

I did have that inkling, yes. My usual modus is to have a morning self drive and an afternoon self drive with the drives forming a loop. I have just this afternoon done the H1-4 up to the S90 then S41, then S100 back to Satara. What I have taken to doing this time is as well as that kind of loop I drive to the H6, go about 4km then back, then back up to the S100, 4km then back, to H7, 4km in then back and then about 5km north of Satara or I do it the other way around starting north first. Thing is, I hear roaring every night and then can't find them in the morning, lol.

But ja, I've done all of the roads around Satara and not picked them up. Thing is, one can't be everywhere at once and it seems when I've started one circuit they've been on the other end and missing by the time I've come past. Bush is also ultra thick after a really good rainy season so easy to miss if they're lying down. But, here till Friday so still hoping to see them.

Today "Males - one white. They were lying in the road and then they stood up and walked to the grass and lay down in the grass"

Found this video of Casper from June 2019. Interesting that there are four other males with him in this video and not just the current three. At some point in the not too distant past they were an up and coming coalition of five, then? Does anyone have any info about this and is there is any info about what happened to the 5th.
