That was strange, but prob the reason is the age of Kumana male, he was prob losing grip on his territory (similar like DM) and eventually give up fighting Maputo and accepted him (Maputo is also quite young and this was his first challenge for territory, so he was not as agressive, and accepted Kumana aswell ), prime male would definitely not do that or that the other, invading male, was already territorial before (like DM and Imbali situation).

Makhulu was not part of WSM coalition, although they where quite tolerate of him, similar as Ross males where eventually towards BYM, i also think its the age factor of dominant males, prime males would be much more "agressive".
Also, there was a lot of examples like this, where territorial males tolerate their sons longer then they should, but eventually it never happened that they formed coalition while older ones remained territorial.

Before he was seen with EBM he was mating. Although Im not sure when exactly was he seen with females, but it was definitely a few months before he formed coalition with EBM. However things can change between that sighting and when he joined EBM, which is why this case could also be an overthrowned old male partnering with a younger male.

This is correct, many old males let their sons stay for way longer, as they know their old age will be disadvantageous against younger prime males, which is why WSM tolerated Makhulu but he was never considered part of the WSM. Makhulu just helped his dads defend the territroy.
So bascislly what im trying to say is, old males do tolerate their sons, but they dont see each other as the same coalition, they think their just "allies".

Notch lost his brother Blonde Mane from the 3 Ridge Pride males Pavarotti, Romeo, and Clawed and was able to hold on to Marsh Pride for some time after, maybe a year or 2. The 3 males again came back and pushed Notch out with 7 of his sons. All 7 sons and Notch teamed up for a small time while nomadic. The 2 other sons from Tamu disappeared or went on their own giving us the famous 6 Notch coalition! But yeah Romeo, Clawed, and Pavarotti kicked them out before they formed a coalition... Maybe, iMHO, possibly the 5 sons bonded with Notch in the time Blonde Mane was killed and N1 held Marsh, but they were extremely young, probably just had been born when Blonde Mane was killed. But maybe?

Finally some good photos of the bros together, and to go back to old discussion here, where folks where claiming that white male is significantly bigger then his 2 brothers, here we can see, that he is not.

Well, its too early to tell where they will end up, just few days ago they where still with the pride.
Who knows, based of previous movement of Bboys and Avocas, they might end up in Sabi Sands, white lion in Sabi Sands would be awesome.
