@BA0701 you can see him charging at hyenas, he is very quick and that leg doesnt bother him whatsoever, actually im quite sure he killed that kudu by himself.. His leg improved so much.

He is certainly in for the long haul on that carcass. Going to take more than that to drive him off his prize. Not sure if how much of that is the result of his tremendously distended belly, but he's not leaving.

He did move really well on that leg, almost got himself one of those heyenas. Getting bigger and stronger by the day, great to see!

The ghost of Ngala!
This is the white young male lion part of the Birmingham pride at Ngala Private Game Reserve.
He is between 2 and a half, almost 3 years of age. Isn't he just majestic?

The Birmingham pride in Shindzela at the moment - the two white lions, the young Birmingham male and other 3 members.

RE: Birmingham Pride of lions - Tonpa - 06-23-2021

Had the main part of the pride on the drive this morning, one of the older lionesses is alone at the moment and was contact calling. Guess she didn't follow the youngsters to Shindzela.

Later on we found the pride, 3 lionesses and their cubs, the guide mentions one of the cubs from the newest litter has disappeared.

Yeah that litter, the end of Feb/March 2021 litter.

Interestingly, I must've missed them mentioning it before, but that litter actually turned out to be 4, they found 2 additional cubs. Down to 3 now with the latest news.

He talks about it here  https://youtu.be/wx7m5ij52To?t=7430

Had the Birmingham splinter group on WildEarth, as well as some interesting information from Tristan who is currently guiding a tour group in Ngala

He mentioned they found YBM in the morning with an unknown male, after some posturing between them YBM chased the male into Kruger

On the stream we had the Oldest lionesses, with the white female, her sister and one of the young males.
They were in the South of Ngala quite far from YBM and the white male and his brother who were seen close to where YBM crossed into Kruger(but not with him I believe).

Both Birmingham Breakaway and Birmingham pride young subadults are all over the place at the the momet as they are semi-nomadic, so its hard to follow them.
