At nearly two and a half years this guy is really growing into his own. Soon it’ll be time to leave and form a nomadic coalition with his brothers.

Sometimes even the apex predator needs to make space for something bigger. The Birmingham young male taking the easier option and sneaking away from an approaching elephant.

In past few days, 8 subadults are hanging on their own.. Its speculated that 2 more older females are denning, 2 give birth just recently and 1 has give birth last year.. So with new generation of cubs coming in, its expected that these subadults will spend more and more time on their own and potentially split eventually.. This situation is very similar to current situation in Kambula pride and their subadults..

This new situation can be good for BYM, if he sticks with subadults, but he was not spotted with them here, idk where he is.
