On a mission - One of the two Nharhu males on a territorial patrol in the early morning at Tanda Tula Safari Camp, Both males chased off members of the Sark breakaway pride last month. They still are in good shape and doing really well in the area,  the River pride, including both Nharhu males have been venturing to the east of the reserve. Where look like they were involved on a fight and the oldest lioness has died not too long after. Will be an absolutely joy observed the lion dynamics in the Timbavati region, with a lot of new lions and prides back and forth throughout the area of Timbavati,Klaserie and Kruger... We will keep you update!

A beautiful boy in his prime! A very great looking of Mpohlo, the deceased Nharhu male who alongside with his two brothers once dominates the Central Timbavati region of Kruger National Park.

One of the two remaining Nharhu males known by some as Skorokoro/Skorro with look like the oldest River pride cub. Cathan Moore told me that, since Mpohlo passed away, Skorro/Skorokoro seems to be the dominant one of the two males. He's without a doubt, a fine looking of male lion, images by: Cathan Moore

One of the Nharhu male has been dominating to one of the Mayambula females. He was seen mating on last Monday and 24 of July. The Nharhu males took-over their 2nd pride. Although they mated with 4 different prides over the years. River pride, Timbavati, Zebenine and Mayambula prides.

Very sad news about the Nharhu coalition. Such a shame. Just 10 months ago that coalition consisted of 3 males. Let's hope the remaining male, Skorokoro, is safe and well with his pride.

Xitaya on his own, patrolling and scent marking his territory just 6-7 weeks ago. He looked magnificent here.

Timbavati pride is one of the oldest prides of the Timbavati region. The Timbavati pride is the same pride that had white cubs in 2009. From this pride, the Timbavati males and Xakubasa pride were born
