I was told this is a screenshot from a video.

Is he calling the Ximhungwes or perhaps he still thinks Nhenha is alive?

Video clip of Nkuhuma male @Mapokser made reference to.

NYM calling Nhenha breaks my heart.
Hopefully, you'll get soon another buddy if Nhenha is already dead.

RE: Birmingham Coalition Male Lineage - Duco Ndona - 03-14-2023

Just trying to find the ximhungwes I guess.

Its been moonths since he last saw Nhenha so he too understood he died

RE: Birmingham Coalition Male Lineage - Robot00 - 03-14-2023

If only the SYM didn't die off of a freak accident then these two (NYM/SYM) would be in the current position the Plains camp males are in.

When ive first heard that the NYM and SYM finding eachother i was sooooo hoping that their other half brother TYM would find them (or eachother) too. That would have been amazing. Three half bros from three different prides forming a coalition? The story lines would be crazy. Unheard of.

Had that happened they'd be the ruler of most of S.S right now. No one would stand a chance because SYM wouldn't have had a freak accident and died.

Sadly and weirdly when the TYM and NYM being neighboured next door to eachother could not link up. The TYM traveled a great far distance north to find a partner (cousin?) the BYM while NYM went south and found his half bro.

And here we are. Nhenha is likely gone RiP, while the NYM is alone. Hopefully NYM join forces with his four KYM bros. At least anyone one of them. There were six

@Robot00 Impossible to know what would have happened if Styx hadn't been killed. They could have eventually got defeated by PCM anyway and everything would be the same.

They were older so they had the advantage when they first met but the months would pass and the PCM would catch up, they'd still have a stronger bond and would still be bigger and more aggressive.

We are talking about the time when Styx died (August 2021), Nwalunghus where 5 yrs old then, PC males only just got 4 yrs month before, 1 year is massive difference at that stage.

At that time, mid 2021, Nwalunghus where starting to make noise and where active in Singita and western sector, especially towards Mhangenis, who ressisted because of the cubs. Also seen in western sector, where they most likely attacked Aunty Othawa.

At that time PC males still didnt even acquire NK females and where still pretty much low profile.

So towards late 2021, with PC males starting to focusing northeast towards NK females, if Styx didnt die, its more likely Nwalunghus would establish themselves first in Singita or even western sector against Tumbelas.

Now, how would then dynamic work in early 2022 between Nwalunghus and PC males nobody knows.

Territorial Nwalungus might just chase younger PC males away as far as we know.

At the time of his death, Styx was a beast, he was also more agressive and confident the NK (which prob cost him his life).

But yea, those are all speculations, nobody knows what would happen.

RE: Birmingham Coalition Male Lineage - Duco Ndona - 03-15-2023

Its fun to speculate though.

I would guess that the Nwalungus would have driven the PCmales northeast where they would have eventually focused on the Nkuhumas like they did in our timeline. Perhaps even taking out Darkmane.'
The Nwalungus would have then settled down in Singita. On the east they would have focussed on the Mhangeni pride and on the west on the Ximhungwes. Taking on the role that the PCmales currently have.
Though leaving no equalivent to the Birminghams settling down in the western sector.

This means that the Othawas would likely be spared their massacre. Limper may have survived a bit longer or died much earlier. Depending on how much time the Nwalungus spend with the Ximhungwes and the progression of his illness.

Nhenha would have no coalition partner and likely disapeared into obscurity after being austed by the Nwas.

In the future, the Othawas would have become a rather big pride. Which would eventually have resulted in conflicts with the Ximhungwe pride. Which would still be stuck between the Tumbella and Nwalungu coalition like today and eventually be squeezed out as the Othawa pride fractures in various subgroups like most larger prides tend to do and requires their territory.

But yeah. Ultimately its still speculation. Different movements mean different ways for animals to get hurt or bump into animals they shouldnt. So even more different timelines.

Or if you look from the other side, they might got attacked and massacred sooner by Nwalunghus, which is more likely.

Birminghams takeover of western sector happened almost 1 year after Styx death.

If Styx didnt die, and Nwalunghus attacked western sector in late 2021/early 2022, and if females died/got killed as they did in Birmighams takeover, those cubs would never make to this point where 2 surviving females are atm, as they will be way too young to feed for themselves.

A lot of things could happen.

RE: Birmingham Coalition Male Lineage - Duco Ndona - 03-15-2023

The issue with the Othawas was that there was the Birmingham coalition lodged between the Tumbellas and the PCmales. So there wasnt much room to manoeuvre around in and conflict erupted.

In my scenario there wouldnt be.
Though its always possible another group replaces the Birminghams.

The Nwalungus would likely rule the west just like the PCmales currently are doing. Occasional visits and focusing on the Ximhungwes. But mostly sticking to Singita.

Honestly they'll probably make their move in the next few months and chances are they'll change the current dynamics quite a bit.

The boy in the last photo reminds me a lot of scrapper and he wasn’t alive when his brothers took over the kambula pride but I assume he’s the youngest of the 6?
