This is prob youngest female, sister of youngest male, does that means that older female returned to the pride?

Unfortunately this female will quite likely have similar fate to Gingerella Othawa and Nwaswitshaka's sister , she will find herself alone once males move on..

The older female returned to the core pride 2-3 months' ago and was accepted. There's still a good chance for the younger female to follow the same path as she and her brothers remain around MalaMala and Londolozi area.

Less likely, she is still around 1 year from estrus, at that point Kambulas will already have many cubs with Ndhzengas, and wont accept her.

Also, she is already 1 year without contact with 4 older females who are with Ndhzengas, and something less with majority of her older sisters who are also with Ndhzengas for a while now. In a half year - year or so she will lost all connections and contact with them.

But as nomadic female, she might join nomadic Kambula childcare group in near future or Tsalala female.

Yes, also has an outside chance w the Kambula breakaways.   Timing might work out best with them.   The daughters are 20 months old now.

Great photos!!
This is the pic I wanted to see bro. NYM most likely is going to keep his eye functioning well.

Nkuhuma male with nhenha.

RE: Birmingham Coalition Male Lineage - sundarbans - 11-16-2022

Is it possible for male lions to lose size? Nhenha used to be a massive lion and usually towered over his coalition mates. But here he looks to be the same size as NYM. Has he lost some condition?
