Kambula Young Male #2.  Son of Birminghams

I’m a bit concerned he’s only been seen alone and without his brother.  The two had entered into Kruger and only this boy has been seen returning to the Sabi Sands.   Let’s wait and hopefully see and hear about the whereabouts of KB#1

The Nkuhuma male keeps a wary eye on the Birmingham male courting the Ximungwe female.

How will these two invaders effect the lion dynamics to come?

Although it's fantastic to see him alive and well, it's unfortunate he's separated from his brother, Kambula YM #2 and still at Phabeni Gate. Maybe they have lost each other.

Apparently Kambula Young Male #2 has found Kambula Young Male #1. They are in Kruger again.

RE: Birmingham Coalition Male Lineage - DARK MANE - 07-24-2022

4/6 kambula boys and 2 young kambula females were seen today at Nkorho bush lodge, Sabi sands.
Hope they make it. They are doing excellent from past 8 months ( since they become nomads).
Seems to be 3.5-4 yrs old.

So at this point I believe that Kambula males have split into 2 coalitions, the older 2 are frequently seen in Kruger south of Sabi Sands and the younger 4 are seen together. Although it is still a bit early to say so as Kambula #2 returned in SS not long ago
