6th,youngest male has such a dark mane already for his age, much darker then his older brothers, should be nice specimen if he can survive.

There have been a few shifts in the lion dynamic towards the eastern sector of our property in the Sabi Sand Reserve of late.
The Ndzhenga males have moved further north of their usual territory, which has caused the Kambula pride - never seen on our property before - to split up.
The breakaway portion of the Kambula pride has now been seen on Lion Sands Game Reserve over the last couple of days, due to the Ndzhenga males potentially challenging the dominant males for territory further north.

Any news on Nkuhuma male? I think last sighting of him was quite east of his usual routes, in MalaMala, he was also not mentioned in latest Singita report.

I’ve seen Nothing since a sighting first week in January of him mating w one Mhangeni

No recent news. He might be laying low or decided to leave. We might see him pop up somewhere else. He might travel a far distance, we don't know. Hopefully he appears in an area where we know he is safe.

I'm guessing it's the young kambulas, lately I've been thinking about the possibility that they might have split up since recent sightings showed only 3 together, it could also just be a momentary separation like the young blackdam.
"We followed up on the 3 young male lions from where we left them previously. They were stalking a big herd of buffalo but the buffalo seemed to always be one step ahead of them & chased the young males. They didn’t give up and left them still trying"
