About #46: I just come to remark that Komodo varanus eat some preys as constrictor snakes (anacondas, pythons, boas) do, by swallowing them directly, with all the skin and feathers. But as concerns the big preys they can eat them like some mammal scavengers (spotted hyenas for example) by being able to plung their head into the corpse and tear some flesh (but not by breaking bones, komodo varanus don't have a huge bite force like hyenas and this by far).

Eating a young and still alive buffalo. The animal bitten by the Komodo dragon will suffer from a multi-bacterial infection which will inexorably paralyze it. And at the same time the Komodo dragon's bite is too weak to provoke the death of a prey such as this buffalo. It's very cruel and hard to watch...
