RE: N'waswitshaka males - Tr1x24 - 08-09-2021 (08-09-2021, 07:09 PM)Potato Wrote: Another picture from Kirkmans Kamp, and Amahle and OE where seen moving around Tengile Lodge few days ago.. It looks like N'ws might try to expand east rather then north, as we taught and speculate they would.. With no females to mate with anymore in SP and Styx's pride, there is no question that these boys will make a move in near future, sadly for them, they are in the area where theres very few females and prides near by, so they will need to take bigger steps. RE: N'waswitshaka males - Tr1x24 - 08-09-2021 Orange Eyes with full belly at the elephant carcass they steal from Dreadlocks, hope Dreadlocks got away in time : Photo Credits : zia_zeeya *This image is copyright of its original author

This is 30km from Nwaswitshaka pride territory.. You sure its him? I did a whisker pattern comparison and plus the = scar on his left nostril. RE: N'waswitshaka males - Gijima - 08-10-2021 Is there a post here or dated photos of the N'Ws as sub adults/cubs? RE: N'waswitshaka males - Tonpa - 08-10-2021 So in August 2016 wide-nose was around 3 years old? RE: N'waswitshaka males - Tr1x24 - 08-10-2021 This is picture of 3 Nwaswitshaka males in late 2017 (Gore, OE and Amahle, all 3 around the same age) at Lion Sands (obiviously looking like 2 year old males) : *This image is copyright of its original author I write this before, that i think that it is possible that Wide Nose is not their brother, he doesnt look like them, yet he looks like Freddy/Big Boy/Sand Rivers lineage around Skukuza (I taught that he might be sired by Sand River males) , and if its true that he is that young male on s79 in 2016, then it might actually be true.. If you look at Wide Nose, he has all completely black nose, and different face structure then other 3..it might actually be true that he joined them around Skukuza in 2018 and in fact he is not their brother.. It is not possible that Nwaswitshaka pride was on s79 in 2016 (30 km of their territory), and other 3 males would be 1 years old if so at that time.. RE: N'waswitshaka males - T I N O - 08-11-2021 That's a possible theory. He also resemblances to one of the Selati males and even makhulu. This doesn't means nothing. But quite interesting how unrelated males could look similar, even by being of different generations. I'll never forget this lion on the left, seen around Skukuza area in 2010, he is copy paste of Nwaswitshaka Wide Nose : *This image is copyright of its original author Ofc he is not his father, because of the age diff, but certaintly there is some connection. This guy is also similar to Sand Rivers, KNP males Freddy and Limper and their son Charleston Big Boy: *This image is copyright of its original author @Brahimlegend any idea who this male was?? RE: N'waswitshaka males - Hairy tummy - 08-11-2021 Great work tr1x24 and timbavati, your knowledge never ceases to amaze me. Well done guys |
