- Large-scale movements of a young female Arctic fox from Svalbard tracked through Argos satellite telemetry from 1 March to 1 July 2018 (date of passage is indicated at several locations along the track). The black dots represent the daily locations, and the colour of the segments linking successive locations indicates the daily movement rate. The sea-ice data show the concentration on 2 April 2018. Sea-ice data retrieved from https://seaice.uni-bremen.de/data/ (Spreen et al. 2008). Map projection is Polar Stereographic (EPSG3996).
