The Undisputed King of Bandipur, undefeated for almost a decade and when Bandipur's territorial wars were escalating all over the park (2014-2015), a large number of males ended up in conflict with each other and with human settlements around the park. Raja was a huge driving force in that war and has managed to defeat every male that ever challenged him, Raja also has three documented kills linked to him over the span of 8 years. one of the most dominant tiger of today's era for sure. @Roflcopters Seeing all those pics, what can I say?... WOW, amazing.

The BMW Male is a freaking huge beast, T42 the same and Raja, well, that cat is definitely the definition of legend. He's one of the living proofs that prove some fanatics wrong when it comes to tigers fighting.

Sanjay Deshpande:
Its a the best advantage to have a ace photographer friend with you in forest like Sanjay Shreemal as then u can njoy forest without bothering for ur photography; so did I, just kept watching waghdoh walk behind our vehicle as to watch a male tiger in his stride nothing beats it & sanjay did the rest.. Now thats what I cal a road stopper show & who else but Waghdoh can do it best! The big guy literally blocked the way all time suddenly coming out of bambus giving no chance for anyone to make adjustments to lens or gypsy positions, this is close shot, could have photoshopped gypsy's in background but wanted to make people aware that such scenes are for all & not for just ace photographers

After 13 dry safaris in Tadoba,Pench,Kanha I headed towards Jim Corbett with very less expectations as the tourism area is really big and sighting of the big cats is very rare ......
Day1 - fist safari ended with loud sambhar calls but no sightings
after which we decided to sit on a watch tower located at sambhar road as we informed that people had sighted a tiger from the tower day before .......
It was just 11.45 and the monkey started alarm calls within 5 mins there was a huge male scent marking on the sambhar road
Jinks broken and then the tigers followed other images coming soon .........................
Extremely sorry for the image quality clicked from a very long distance
