Naren Malik
When there was hardly any sighting of male in mukki, this guy came from kanha and took charge. One of my favorite tiger 'umarpani male', not being sighted for last few days. But he will come out someday just like a hero.....

Had an amazing evening, saw 3 different tigers a male sitting in water, a female chasing barasingha AND then my favorite one Umarpani male, can’t ask for more.

This is what we call a ‘SUPER DRIVE’……..

Looks like this male has some wounds on his front leg.

And he appeared today after 42 days, the male I was missing for a long. As I mentioned in my last post that he’ll come out like a hero and he did today, walked on road majestically and confidently marked his territory.

Great to see him back……… ‘the resilient’! — at Chitvan Jungle Lodge, Kanha National Park, India

Link 7... quickly becoming one of my favorites

The massive Link 7 male (Chota Munna) | Tigers of Kanha.
He has inherited all the best possible genes from his affable, shrewd and powerful father, Munna and mother, the pretty Link 7 female. Just entering adulthood, he has already grown into a huge beast and is expanding his territory in the Mukki zone at a fast pace.
For me, he is the tiger to watch in Kanha in the years to come!
View in full screen for best effect.

T18 / Bhagoda, the grown up ferocious and wounded stray tiger of Bandhavgarh National Park. This has been a gift from our tiger-GURU Ajit Singh who is loaded with 6th sense. We were on birding mission that morning. Three golden jackals appeared and kept walking around our gypsy. They stopped at times and looked in a direction. ....and the CALL came from the very direction! 09.12.2015. f/8, 1/320 sec., ISO 400, FL 185 mm. The left chest and left paw has fighting wounds!

I wonder who he was fighting with?
Bada Mahaman male, Bandhavgarh. 09.12.2015, Magadhi, M.P., India. f/8, 1/125 sec., ISO 400, FL 270 mm. A very aggressive 5 year old male that growled at us. ID credit with thanks to Vijayarajan Muthu and Ravi Bandhavgarh.

T18, the Bhagoda / stray grown up male of Bandhavgarh, M.P., India. 09.12.2015. f/11, 1/60 sec., ISO 400, FL 550 mm. We were concentrating upon birding and we ran in Ajit Singh's expected direction as we got a CALL near by. A minute passed when we stationed our gypsy and this male crossed the road. later we came to know that this was one of the ferocious male named as 'Charger'.

RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 03-13-2016

10 mins after entering the park, we saw this beautiful male tiger, crossing the road. He seems to have had a sumptuous meal (of the cow he had killed a couple of days ago) and he gave a snarl before disappearing into the thicket. In the next couple of days, we were blessed with some good sighting of this tiger; on one occasion, the tiger crossed the road just ahead of our gypsy - the below photograph is a fullframe shot. He is called 'Tadoba tank' tiger and is the son of the legendary Bamera. — at Bandhavgarh National Park.

A couple of minutes after sunrise on that winter morning, Ravi spotted the tiger and exclaimed, 'Sir, tiger'. Instinctively, he drove the gypsy a couple of meters to the other side of the chowk, saying, 'the tiger will come out from here'. And so it did. The tiger waited there for a couple of seconds before it walked towards the road. The spot was totally dark, and it was very hard for us to spot the tiger. My camera (D610 + Nik 200-500) somehow managed and this is the first face-off with the Matkasur Male. (Recovered a lot in raw)
