Wow, so it seems to be confirmed. 213 cm over curves would be around 195 cm body length I think, a 250+ kg specimen. I'm going to assume over curves as 213 cm body length would be around 320 kg, I don't expect to find anything that large these days.

RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 01-05-2016

I would have no problem putting that big boy in the 250kg range, he looks huge.  And while his robust body takes away from his total height in terms of appearance, when you single out his fore limbs, his ulna region looks very long, I think he would have a tall shoulder height as well.

The tiger on the second pic seems to have either two bullet wounds or deep claw indentations in his biceps and chest area pointing towards the camera. And I definitely will call the "bear-tiger" on the newspaper report at least 270 kg, he's a HUGE one.

Those are puncture wounds on katezari. You can tell from the angle and distance they are apart from one another.
Tadoba is home to some males that have no problem fighting each other and katezari loves a good battle.

I made my first trip to Kanha 28 yrs ago and I yet think that it is one of the most beautyful picturesque National Park in our country. This forest provides planty of apportunities to photographers. Few years ago Tiger was granted seen in Kanha meadow or on tiger show elephant back but right now tiger sighting are not very common and this makes it diffrience to look good Scenery and other specieas to try his luck with the tiger. Kanha in winters the most picturesque the frezing tempreatures add lovely feel to this National Park.

Sultan is back!!!

Tiger Sultan AKA T-72 Resighted in the National Park

The famed Tiger Sultan aka T-72 was resighted in Ranthambore National Park after months of being missing from the reserve. According to the fresh report, T-72, Sultan, who is the son of the infamous tiger Ustad is being sighted frequently in the Kailadevi Sanctuary Region of Ranthambore National Park. As per the officials of the Kailadevi Sanctuary, the tiger is seen heading towards the Dagra Plateau region. The officials also revealed that few days ago Sultan hunted down a cow in this region.

THE HULK OF THE SOUTH | PRINCE | HABITAT

Bandipur Tiger Reserve

I'm sure there are other Tigers possibly bigger than him or matching him in size in the jungles of southern India, yet he is the heartthrob of Bandipur. He is PRINCE and he is majestic. After many failed attempt, he put up a show for me that day, a casual scent mark along the safari track and he was gone withing a few minutes.
