The second and third pictures are both  of the RMT27, correct? This male looks gigantic.

Any other info on this unholy monster?
You can tell he is a large prey specialist just from the build of his forelimbs.

Check out RMT3 and RMT28 as well. Both massive tigers, and RMT3 holds a larger territory right next to RMT27 so you can probably assume he is even larger than RMT27.
Assume info, thanks for sharing.

KZT023 murder case solved

for more than 3 years, the mystery of who brutally murdered India's biggest male tiger remained unsolved. Thanks to the forensic breakthroughs and eyewitnesses that came forward, including a photograph of suspect that was lurking nearby at the time of KZT023's brutal death. (his entire forehead was torn to pieces by this psychotic and vicious male) announced Roflcopters and the detective team on Wednesday, June/18/2014.

- Over the years, many had predicted that KZT024 was behind his murder. an allegation that i heavily dismissed because it didn't make any sense to me and here's why. "he was camera trapped after KZT023" so to assume that KZT024 was the culprit just because he was camera trapped after KZT023 made absolutely no sense. what about KZT022 that was caught in camera trap before KZT023? he would have equally been "involved" if that was the case but nobody even brought him to the table because apparently he wasn't "Large" enough to be able to lay the smackdown and kill KZT023.. and to be honest, I never really tried to reach out to anyone familiar with the Kaziranga landscape or to try and solve this mystery until recently when i started thinking about what territory KZT023 actually ruled and then everything started making sense to me.

- I found out that KZT023 ruled a large part of Kaziranga from (Baghori range all the way till Kohora) and fathered many cubs.

and at the time of his death, a large young male that we all know as KZT085 was lurking nearby and challenging him for the spot, finally he succeeded on 05/07/2011 (May/07/2011) by killing KZT023.

Here's the young KZT085 spotted very close to KZT023 in MAY/2011

KZT023 in May/2011

now add everything up

- Previous ruler of Kohora - KZT023
- new ruler of Kohora - KZT085
- KZT085 was the male spotted near KZT023's territory around the time of his death so add up everything and we can see the picture very clear as to who the murderer was.

murder solved, KZT085 killed KZT023 and took over his territory.

These Terai tigers seem exceptionally long, especially RMT3.

Definitely a big bulky tiger... I wonder who is the king of Kaziranga right now?

RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Pckts - 06-19-2014

Here is all the Kaziranga tigers photographed through 2011
http://aaranyak.org/pdfs/KazirangaTigerReport_2009-2011_web.pdf

Notice how average KZT085 looks in 11' he must be around 3-4 then and would probably be around 8 now and right in his prime.

RE: B2 and Other Great Tiger Pics from India - Roflcopters - 06-19-2014

You're right Pckts, he's around 6.5 years old and has been ruling Kohora range since he killed KZT023 in May/2011.
