Hi pckts do you know how you can make a comparison pictures? Looks good!

But compared to a human I know a cape buffalo looks bigger compare to a human than that! Wold love to try myself once, making a comparison picture!

Out of my skillset, this and much more info was from the a different forum from a while back. I know they scale it off of a 6' man though. The data is taken and shown from reliable sources, so the weights and heights are reliable.

@Pantherinae , You need to learn Photoshop, Its one of the world's most advance image editing software. Even, you can use many other free image editing software available on internet.

Photoshop is not free, but it has lot of free tutorial available so that you can learn easily how to use that software.
There are few expert of Photoshop and other image editing software on wildfact, for example Pradyumna.

Yeah it can just be a bad picture of the buffalo! How big is the gaur? It seem's gigantic?

They give the gaur a shoulder height of 6'6'' compared to 5'6'' for the Cape. Maximum shoulder height reported for the gaur was 7'.
Weight between 900-1500kg for the Gaur and 300-900kgs for the cape.

Isn't 1500 kg the record for gaur?
And 900 kg record for the cape?
Should be more realistic with a 700-800 big cape buffalo and a 1000-1200big bull gaur! That would be cool if someone could make?

Out of 100 Cape buffalo weighed at Kruger, the largest was 757kg, so more realistically a bull cape will be around 500-700kg and a big gaur will be around the 1000-1200kg I would say.
